Gary D. Hammer, MD, PhD

Founder and Director

Dr. Hammer is the Founder and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Sling Therapeutics, Inc.

Dr. Hammer currently holds the Millie Schembechler Professorship of Adrenal Cancer and is the Director of Endocrine Oncology at the University of Michigan, where he has devoted 22 years of his career. He was the Co-Founder of Millendo Therapeutics, past President of the Endocrine Society, as well as lead investigator of the linsitinib Phase 3 oncology trial. Dr. Hammer is an editor of four medical and scientific textbooks and numerous academic manuscripts.

Dr. Hammer received his medical degree (MD) and PhD in Neuroscience/Neuroendocrinology from Tufts University and his clinical training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at UCSF in San Francisco.o.
