Mr. Guggenhime serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sling Therapeutics, Inc.

Mr. Guggenhime currently serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of Vaxcyte, Inc. He also serves on the Caribou Biosciences Board of Directors. Prior to joining Vaxcyte, he was Chief Financial Officer of Dermira, Inc. through its acquisition by Eli Lilly. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer at several biotech companies including Calistoga Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (acquired by Gilead Sciences, Inc.), Facet Biotech Corporation (acquired by Abbott Laboratories) and Neoforma, Inc. (acquired by Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC). Mr. Guggenhime began his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch & Co. and Wells Fargo & Company. He also serves on the Caribou Biosciences Board of Directors.

Mr. Guggenhime earned his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University and his BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College.
